At Deer Lakes School District we continue to try and prepare our students for the 21st century. We will be moving to a new 1:1 technology integration program district wide for the 18-19 school year.
Our K-5 students will receive their device in the classroom. K-3 students will receive an iPad, students 4-5 will receive a Chromebook. At this time students will NOT be permitted to take their devices home.
Our 6-12th grade students will receive a Chromebook that they WILL be able to take home. Please refer to the links in the right sidebar (1:1 Program Information) regarding documentation and insurance.
Parents of 6-12 students may opt out of insurance and enroll at anytime during the year if the device breaks.
All parents of 6-12 students will be required to read the Deer Lakes School District 1:1 Program then complete the two bulleted items below prior to receiving a device.
All families MUST enroll the student device at www.one2onerisk.com and choose to either accept or decline the insurance option. For more information on the insurance program please go here.
All families must fill out the Parent Device Agreement Signature page and turn it prior to receiving the device.
