Student Artwork
The artwork of Deer Lakes students Emily Mischen, Haley Klingensmith-Pierce, Heather White, Amanda Bialis, Trisha Edwards, Mercedes Guido has been chosen to be displayed in the Standard Ceramics Suburban High School Exhibit.
The student reception and award ceremony will be held on Thursday April 12 from 5-7 p.m. at Ceramic Supply of Pittsburgh, 1 Walnut Place, Carnegie PA 15106.
Last weekend, White (Skull Tea Pot) and Michen (Track and Field) had their work displayed in the Cafe Delhi and Karma Banquet and Event Center, also in Carnegie, as part of the Western Pennsylvania Regional K-12 Ceramic Exhibition. Deer Lakes students Katelyn Beacom, (Snake Jar), Casey Buechel (Mug Series), and Hannah Irvine (Textured Cup Set) were also recognized.
