District to host annual senior citizens holiday luncheon, Dec. 18
With the help of a generous contribution from Encompass Health, the Deer Lakes High School Student Council will host its annual Senior Citizens Holiday Luncheon, Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019 at Deer Lakes High School, 163 East Union Road, West Deer Township. Entertainment will take place in the auditorium beginning at 12:30 p.m., with the luncheon scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. There is no charge to attend.
This year’s menu will include fresh carved ham, herb-roasted potatoes with gravy, sweet potatoes, fresh steamed corn, fresh snipped green beans, baked rolls and a pasta salad as well as a sweet dessert.
The luncheon is open to senior citizens of the Deer Lakes School District. Reservations are required by calling the student council at 724.265.5300 Ext. 2227 before the close of business, Thursday, Dec.12.
Shuttle service will be provided from the high school parking lot. Handicap parking will be available at the high school.
