My name is Chalyse Danka and I am a second grade teacher at Curtisville Primary Center. I have taught at Deer Lakes since 2003. Prior to Deer Lakes I taught kindergarten in North Carolina for 3 years.
I became a teacher because I wanted to make a positive difference in children's lives. My classroom is a student centered place where learning is so much fun! I strive to create a safe and caring classroom that is welcoming for all. I cannot imagine a more rewarding career than watching little minds grow!
My family and I live in Sarver. I am married and have two beautiful daughters; Lucia and Isabetta.
