Hello and welcome! My name is Deanna Beacom and I am happy to be your child's first grade teacher at Curtisville Primary Center. I began my teaching career in 2003 in second grade and I have been teaching first grade ever since.
My goal is to provide a safe, yet challenging experience for your child that will lay the foundation for academic success. It is wonderful to see the growth the children make during first grade!
I am proud to live in the Deer Lakes Community with my husband and our two boys. We have a dog named Ella and many farm animals. I enjoy traveling, running and outside activities. I also like to read and spend time with my family.
