My name is Katie Lattimore and I am a second grade teacher at Curtisville Primary Center. I have taught at Deer Lakes since 1999. Prior to Deer Lakes, I worked as a paraprofessional with the Penn Hills School District.
I became a teacher because I wanted to make a positive difference in the lives of children. For me, spending the day with children and watching their "light bulbs go off" is a rewarding experience and not a job!
When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, four daughters, and our dog.
