Hello! My name is Kristin Beal and I am a first grade teacher at Curtisville Primary Center. I have taught at Deer Lakes since 1999. I began my career at Deer Lakes as a substitute teacher in a kindergarten classroom and then was hired the following year as a special education teacher. I have experience teaching in a life skills classroom at the high school and in an autistic support classroom at Curtisville. In 2001 I began teaching first grade.
I look forward to our partnership in your child's education. During the first grade year, you will watch your child grow into an independent reader, critical thinker and problem solver. First grade is an exciting year for learning!
I currently reside in Murrysville with my husband and son. I enjoy reading, gardening, and spending time outdoors.
