Lacey Mahler: Music

My name is Lacey Mahler and I am the general music teacher at Curtisville Primary Center and the general music and elementary band teacher at East Union Intermediate Center. I have taught at Deer Lakes since 2003. Prior to teaching in the elementary buildings, I taught band at Deer Lakes Middle School for eight years.

I received my Bachelors of Fine Arts in Music Performance and Music Education from Carnegie Mellon University and my Masters of Music in Music Education from Duquesne University. I live in the Fox Chapel Area School District with my husband, two kids, and our Mastodor puppy (Biggie). In my free time I enjoy performing on the bagpipes - I am an award winning solo piper and member of a local band.
