Hello!  My name is Lori Crawford.  I have been a Speech and Language Therapist at Deer Lakes School District since 2005.  I have serviced children in grades kindergarten through 12th grade.  

 

After graduating from Deer Lakes High School, I attended The Pennsylvania State University and Duquesne University where I received my Bachelor and Master's degrees.

 

I reside in West Deer Township with my husband, Thomas Crawford (who is a MS science teacher), our son Matthew, and daughter Jordyn who attend Deer Lakes School District. We also have a chocolate lab named Murphy and an orange tabby cat named Ollie.  

 

All students have a speech folder.  Please see his/her folder for detailed information about what we are working on and what can be done at home to support your child.  In addition, each child is assigned to a speech google classroom.  Log in through the speech google classroom if we would have remote day for weather or any other reason.

 

 

If you are concerned about your child's speech or language development, please reach out to his or her teacher or me!  I am able to help determine if speech services are needed. If you are participating in Lancer Academy, we would need to schedule a time for you to bring your child in for a screening.  All 3rd grade students are screened for articulation during the first nine week period.
