My name is Sue Fink. I have been involved in Deer Lakes School District since 2006. During this time I have substituted in most of the grade levels as well as taught in three of the buildings.
Upon graduation from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, I started my career working in before and after school daycare and then teaching Prekindergarten 2 and Kindergarten. It was not until later, after staying at home with my children, that I started working for Deer Lakes School District.
I started as a substitute teacher for Deer Lakes, then officially started my Deer Lakes career in 2008 teaching third grade. At this time I continued my education earning my Master of Education degree in Education. During this time I was transferred to first grade for two years. I also was a long-term substitute at Deer Lakes in kindergarten, first grade, second grade, third grade, and fourth grade.
My goal is to provide a comfortable learning environment for the students. I will strive to help them progress to their maximum learning potential by offering a variety of learning activities.
I reside in Deer Lakes with my husband Chris with our dog Molly. My oldest daughter Annalee graduated from Penn State University and my younger daughter Lydia graduated from Slippery Rock University.
