Deer Lakes Technology Protection Plan

This plan is avaiable for students K-12 for the school year.
 
 
Coverage and Benefit 
 
This annual agreement cover the Chromebook loaned to the student against accidental damage costs. This agreement is $35 per student per school year. The charger is NOT covered and is the responsibility of the student/parent. Damage(s) due to intentional, reckless, willful, or malicious conduct is not covered.
 
Premium
 
The total premium cost is $35 for the school year. Payment is due by the start of the school year. The Technology Protection Plan is non-refundable. The Building Principal, in it's sole discretion, will determine if damages were due to intentional, reckless, willful, or malicious conduct. Previously purchased Technology Protection Plans will NOT cover the cost of the new school year. This fee is not subject to waiver for free and recuded students as it is totally an OPTIONAL fee; students/parents are NOT required to have this coverage. 
 
How to Purchase 
 
Students/Parents can purchase the Technology Protection via One2One Risk.  Follow the "How to Enroll" steps to purchase.
 
If the Technology Protection Plan is Not Purchased 
 
All damages and replacement parts will be charged to the student/parent/guardian. Damage feels without the Technology Protection Plan can range between $5 to $300 based off the serverity of damage. All damage and replacement parts cost will be applied via One2One Risk.
 
If Your Device is Damaged (if you have the Technology Protection Plan or Not)
 
Take your device to the IC(Middle School) or Technology Offices(High School). A loaner device will be supplied during the time in which your issued device is being repaired. Loaner devices are only available to students that have submitted a damaged device to the IC or Technology Department.
