Hello! My name is Jami Reap and I am the Math Support teacher at Deer Lakes Middle School. This is my fourth year of teaching in the district. Prior to this position, I taught 5th grade at East Union Intermediate Center. I received my undergraduate degree from Slippery Rock University in Mid-Level Math Education and my master's degree in Special Education from Point Park University. I am a proud graduate of Deer Lakes High School and I couldn't be happier to be teaching in this community!
It has been my dream to teach in this district since I was in Kindergarten. My goal is to show students that learning math can be fun, exciting, and useful in a hands-on way. I'm looking forward to this school year - even if it may be a bit different - it will be awesome, nonetheless!
I currently live in the Pine Richland School District with my husband and our Aussiedoodle named Lucy. In my free time, I love cooking new recipes, spending time with my family, traveling to the Outer Banks in the summer, and playing with our dog who has endless energy!
