Educere Credit Recovery Summer Session
Attention HS Students:
Just a reminder that any student who failed a course during the 2021-2022 school year and would like to recover the course this summer through Educere, must enroll in their course by June 23, 2022. Failure Notifications were sent out last week to all impacted students. You can also utilize the below information to sign up for a Credit Recovery Course:
Educere Credit Recovery Summer Session:
The Educere credit recovery/abbreviated summer school program is a computer-based program in which the students work completely online from their home computer. The course offerings provided were chosen so they align with Deer Lakes courses as closely as possible. Courses are $195.00 regardless of credit weight. Students and their families are responsible for Credit Recovery payment before beginning the program. The registration deadline is June 23, 2022. The students start date is approximately 7 days after receipt of registration and payment. Students then have 60 days to complete the course. Additionally, Deer Lakes School District will offer a teacher supported, five week, Summer Credit Recovery Program at Deer Lakes High School. The summer support services will be scheduled to start June 27th and run through July 29nd from 9:00 am-12:00 pm Monday through Thursday. During that time, a teacher will be available to provide support to students taking an online credit recovery course.
We need to know as soon as possible if you would like your child to participate in this credit recovery program. To ensure we plan appropriately for all students involved, please contact your building administration to let us know if your child will be participating. Students and their families are responsible for Credit Recovery payment before beginning the program.
