School Climate Survey Summary
Dear Parents and Guardians,
At the September Education Committee meeting, we shared the results of the Deer Lakes School District’s recent School Climate Survey (March–June 2025). This survey helps us better understand the perceptions of our school community, focusing on school climate, student support, and social-emotional learning (SEL).
What Parents and Guardians Said
Parents and guardians told us they are very satisfied with our schools:

What Staff Said
Staff reported they feel safe and believe they are effective at supporting students.

What Community Members Said
Community members expressed confidence in school safety and believe educators care about students. They value the partnership between schools and the community.

Looking Ahead

Students in grades 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 will participate in the Pennsylvania Youth Survey this year.

Results will be reviewed in building-level staff meetings to develop action steps.
