Asst. Superintendent Mrs. Barnes retires after 11 years at Deer Lakes

Congratulations to Deer Lakes School District Assistant Superintendent Mrs. Bobbi-Ann Barnes, who has officially retired!
Mrs. Barnes has been a vital part of our District for more than a decade with a focus on continuously advancing and expanding curriculum and teaching practices to provide greater and more diverse academic opportunities for students.
In her time at Deer Lakes, Mrs. Barnes has been central to the development of the Deer Lakes Portrait of a Learner, countless professional development opportunities, and meaningful change to elevate the impact of teachers, all of which have contributed greatly to increasingly positive student outcomes.
Her passion for and commitment to our students and staff will be impactful for years to come.
Thank you, Mrs. Barnes, for every classroom you visited, every grant you wrote, and every moment you dedicated yourself to making Deer Lakes a greater school community for our students to learn.
