I currently teach Pre-AP English 9 and English Applications A; I am also the 9-12 Gifted Support Teacher. This is my 32nd year of teaching in the Deer Lakes School District. Previously, I have taught 7th grade Language Arts, 9th & 10th grade Academic, Advanced, and Honors English, and AP English Literature & Composition. I have also served as a 7th and 8th grade Gifted Support Teacher.
I live in West Deer with my husband, Craig, who is a History teacher at DLHS. Our oldest daughter graduated from Deer Lakes in 2016 and Gannon University in 2020; our youngest daughter is a 2019 DL graduate and is a junior at Duquesne University.
Craig and I enjoy working in the community in which we live, and, as a family, we take great pride in public education and being DL Lancers!
