New Student Online Registration

Deer Lakes School District uses an online student registration program which allows parents/guardians to input student information right from the comfort of their own home, office, public library, or any other web-hosted location. Please only register if your child is not currently enrolled at Deer Lakes School District and has never been enrolled in Deer Lakes schools.

Students who are new to Deer Lakes School District will use the New Student Online Registration process. Students who have left the district, but are returning, do not have to complete the registration process. Instead, they should simply contact their building's secretary to expedite the re-registration process.

Your child must be at least five years-old prior to September 1 to be eligible for Kindergarten. Also, new students of all ages must reside within the school district's geographic boundaries at the time of registration.

Please allow at least three (3) business days for class and trasportation information to be assigned.

New Families:

Families of students who are new to Deer Lakes School District should follow this simple process to enroll your child and your family in our student information system:

Request a login account using a valid email address.
Your login and password will be sent to your provided email address.
Use the link that is sent to you to log in and begin the process.
Make sure to check your spam filter if you do not receive an email.

Existing Families:

If you already have children enrolled in our schools you are already in our student information system. Therefore, after you log into Family Access, please select "New Student Online Enrollment."

Documentation:

While completing the student registration, you will be asked to upload attachments of the Birth Certificate, Proof of Immunization, Proof of Residence (es: utility bill, rental/home agreement, Insurance) and a copy of Parent/Guardian's Photo ID (driver's license). For Kindergarten, if you have your child's last dental exam, well check paperwork (physical exam) and lead test result available at this time, please download them along with the proof of immunizations, these forms MUST be turned in before the start of the new school year. For your convenience, it may be helpful if you have the required documents on your computer to add as attachments.

Dental and Physical Forms:

The Pennsylvania School Health Law requires all students entering their first year of school have a DENTAL exam. Please submit proof of last dental exam to the nurse at Curtisville Primary Center before the beginning of the school year. The dental exam should be dated within the current school year.

PHYSICAL Exam Report (Required by the State) The Pennsylvania School Health Law requires all students in Kindergarten have a physical exam. Please submit your child's last well check paperwork to the nurse at Curtisville Primary Center before the beginning of the school year. The Physical Exam should be dated within the current school year.

Please print out the Physical and Dental forms and have them filled out by your doctor.

Transfer Students:

If your student is transferring to Deer Lakes from another district, you will be required to register. Please remember to fill out the 'Authorization to Release Records' which gives Deer Lakes access to your student’s academic record at his/her previous school(s) while you are registering.
