Hello, my name is Mike Nypaver. I teach AP and general chemistry at Deer Lakes High School. I have taught at Deer Lakes since 2022. Previous to teaching at Deer Lakes I have taught chemistry and biology at Beaver Falls and OLSH.
A goal for my classroom is to expand critical thinking and problem-solving skills for my kids both in and out of the science field.
Along with teaching, I am also the girls volleyball coach at Deer Lakes. In the spring, I coach boys volleyball at Mars High School. When I get free time, I like to play in volleyball leagues or, when it's warm enough, hit a golf course.
