This course is equivalent to the first calculus course taken in college. It is designed to introduce students to mathematics at the college level. Students will study the concepts of limit, derivative and the integral with algebraic and transcendental functions. Students will apply these concepts to solve mathematical problems in science, business and other academic areas. Students will be required to take the AP Exam or take a final exam at the end of the school year. Students will be responsible for the cost of the AP Exam.
