This course is designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary for students to excel in their athletic endeavors.  Students will have the opportunity to learn specific training programs in order to enhance their performance in athletics, fitness, or whatever training they are interested in pursuing.  This course will include dynamic stretching, static stretching, plyometric and core exercises, muscular endurance and strength exercises, cardiovascular endurance, and nutrition.  This course will also include a unit on Biomechanics in which it will give the students the knowledge on how a specific skill-related movement is to be performed for maximum output.  The student should gain an understanding of the mechanical and anatomical principles that govern human motion, and will utilize these principles to analyze movement.
