The goals of the Deer Lakes High School summer reading program are to encourage students to read, improve their reading skills, and have knowledge of authors. The data conclusively demonstrates that students who regularly read are better academic achievers and, for that reason, summer reading is essential. 

Deer Lakes High School students are required to complete summer reading assignments for the upcoming school year. Please refer to the attachments below for specific course information. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact the high school administration.
