Julianne Taylor: Special Education

Profile:

My name is Julie Taylor and I am a Special Education Teacher at Curtisville Primary Center.  I have taught at Deer Lakes since 2008.  Prior to Deer Lakes I worked for Colonial Intermediate Unit in Bethlehem, PA.

I believe that all students can learn and accomplish great things.  Some students learn differently and that's what makes them special and amazing.  My goal is to create a safe, fun, and functional learning environment that all students make progress.  My philosophy of education is simple— when you communicate and are flexible, learning will happen.

I am originally from Allentown, PA.  I attended Indiana University of PA and graduated in 2007.  I am married and have three, fun loving, boys.   I enjoy being outdoors with my family and reading various subject areas.
