 Grades 10-121.00 Credit Level 2 Course # 1362
This is an AP course, designed to prepare students for AP Calculus. This course will reinforce and expand students' knowledge of algebra and introduce them to the field of trigonometry. It is a prerequisite for the study of mathematics at the college level. They will use polynomial, trigonometric, parametric, exponential, and logarithmic functions to solve problems. They will use the graphs of conic sections, polar coordinates, and complex numbers to solve problems.  In addition, matrices will be studied and used to solve systems of equations.  Students will be required to take the AP Exam or take a final exam at the end of the school year.  Students will be responsible for the cost of the AP Exam.
