PBIS@Curtisville Primary Center

We are excited to announce that Curtisville Primary Center is in year 3 of our PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention and Support) implementation and we are receiving recognition for Implementation of Tier I with Fidelity! PBIS is a systematic way of teaching, modeling, and acknowledging students for meeting school behavioral expectations. All students are able to achieve success and learn the necessary social and emotional skills that will allow them to be successful in and out of school.

Our Kind, Courageous, and Healthy expectations will continue to be taught and positive behavior will be celebrated individually and school-wide. If your child tells you that they received a trolley ticket (positive card), then that means they were acknowledged by a staff member for demonstrating these expectations. Once they receive a trolley ticket, they enter the information into our trolley station (online form within the school) and can be randomly selected for a reward.

Our PBIS focuses will continue throughout the school year to help each of us have a ‘beautiful day in the neighborhood’.
