School Supplies for the 2023-2024 School Year

at East Union Intermediate Center

We are looking forward to BUILDING a great school year here at East Union.  In order to make your “back-to-school shopping” simpler- we are sharing the supplies requested by each team of teachers below.  

We are encouraging all learners to bring a water bottle with them daily.  Cups will not be given out for water.  


 

GRADE 3 SUPPLIES LIST

  • Headphones for student Chromebook 

  • #2 Pencils

  • Pencil Pouch

  • Jumbo Glue Sticks 

  • Sturdy water bottle - to be used for water only.   

  • NOTE: Pencils and Glue Sticks need to be replenished throughout the school year. All students will be using a Chromebook this year and will need to have personal headphones.

  • Donations needed:

  • Kleenex, Clorox/Lysol Wipes, Hand Sanitizer, Paper Towels

  • Four or Five pencils (more needed throughout the year)

  • Erasers

  • Four different colored highlighters (ELA)

  • 2 packs of 3x5 index cards & an index card storage container (Math)

  • A chapter book for silent reading

  • A pack of Jumbo Elmer’s Glue Sticks (Math)

  • A water bottle

  • Earbuds and a container to store them in *(this item is very important for the use of personal Chromebooks)

  • Pencil pouch

  • A hand-held pencil sharpener that holds shavings

  • Classroom Donations:

    • A container of disinfectant wipes (ex: Clorox)

    • Two boxes of tissues (more needed throughout the year)

  • A Pencil Pouch: with glue sticks- 2 for every nine weeks, pencils, top erasers, handheld pencil sharpener,  scissors, and markers.
  • Personal items in a baggie (optional): Kleenex & hand sanitizer
  • Please keep on hand at home extra pencils, colored pencils, paper, markers

  • For our classroom: Clorox wipes, kleenex, and hand sanitizer

  • While we appreciate individuality please do not purchase additional binders or folders.  We have found that the binders and folders we provide fit best in our desks and accommodate all of the students' needs.

  • While we appreciate individuality please do not purchase additional binders or folders.  We have found that the binders and folders we provide fit best in our desks and accommodate all of the students' needs.

  1. Large 3-ring binder/trapper keeper like
  2. A pencil box (one that fits on your desk)
  3. Earbuds 
  4. Pencils, erasers (you’ll need to keep a few at school and the backups at home)
  5. Highlighters (pink, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple - 1 of each)
  6. Glue stick (3 or 4)
  7. Scissors (blunt tip please)
  8. Old sock/cloth to use as an eraser
  9. Box of tissues to be shared by all students
  10. Container of disinfecting wipes (Clorox/Lysol)
  11. Please be sure to put your name on all personal belongings

  • Dry-erase markers, old socks, and/or cloth to use as an eraser

  • Ear-buds

  • A box of tissues and disinfectant wipes
