Strings:
Students are expected to practice their instruments at home in addition to class rehearsal time (especially due to the nature of the hybrid schedule).
There will be a few playing tests and written assignments/quizzes throughout the year. Students will be given plenty of advance notice prior to testing.
Attendance at after-school rehearsals and concerts is mandatory. At this time we are uncertain about performance dates- updates will be given as the year progresses! For now they are all TBD.
General Music:
Class participation is a major part of the students' grades. A few written or performance-based assessments will be given throughout the year with plenty of advance notice.
