Grading is based solely on accumulated points.  No assignments are weighted.  Assignments for the Physics course are dominated by test grades.  Tests will be given at the conclusion of units / chapters.  In addition to the unit test, each unit will also include a worksheet.  Worksheets are given at the beginning of each unit and should be worked on progressively to reinforce the unit concepts.  Worksheets will be turned in with the completed unit test on the test day.  Additional grades may be given for laboratory work, class activities, and notebooks depending on the unit and the course.  A participation grade will also be given at the conclusion of each nine weeks grading period.
