Hello! My name is Mrs. Restifo, and I currently teach math at Deer Lakes Middle School. I have taught at Deer Lakes since 2005. I began as a middle school math teacher for 6 years, moved to first for 2 years, then taught sixth for a year, back again to first grade for 3 years, and am back to teach math at the middle school. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Westminster College and Masters in Education and Reading Specialist from the University of Pittsburgh.
I currently live in the Shaler School District with my husband and two daughters. I like to travel, although I have many places I still dream to visit. I love sports, the outdoors, and movies. I am looking forward to an exciting year and will do everything I can to help make it a happy and successful year for all of my students.
There is nothing more rewarding than watching children learn and grow.
